The Key
A little something to keep you connected to the house.
You don't need a key to come inside.
The doors to Room to Restore are open, and you're welcome to wander through them whenever you need to.
But if you'd like to stay a little closer...
The Key is our way of keeping in touch.
Leave us your name and email and, every now and then, something from the house will find its way to you.
A letter we thought you might need.
A conversation worth sitting down for.
Something new waiting in one of the rooms.
An idea we've been thinking about.
An invitation to something happening in real life.
Nothing constant.
Nothing you need to keep up with.
Just thoughtful things, sent when we have something worth sending.
What might find its way to you.
We don't want to fill your inbox for the sake of it. There is enough noise already.
So we'll only write when we have something worth sending.
A letter from the house.
Something to read slowly. Perhaps something that finds you on exactly the right day.
A new conversation.
For the days when something is sitting heavily on your mind and you'd like somewhere to put it.
Something we've made for you.
A reflection, an audio, a journal page or something small we think is worth sharing.
An invitation.
When we open the doors to gatherings, workshops and retreats, you'll be amongst the first to know.
News from the house.
New rooms, new ideas and the things we're quietly building behind the scenes.
Why a key?
Because we wanted this to feel different.
Not like signing up to another mailing list. Not like joining another platform.
Room to Restore was imagined as a house.
Somewhere you can come when life feels loud. Somewhere you can sit for a while. Somewhere that asks nothing of you before welcoming you in.
And while you don't need a key to enter...we rather liked the idea of you having one anyway.
Something that says:
There's a place for me here.
A note before you go.
Room to Restore isn't about becoming a better version of yourself.
We think women are given quite enough things to improve already.
It's about having somewhere that cares for the person who is usually busy caring for everybody else.
We call that Emotional Hospitality.
A different way of thinking about wellbeing, one that begins not with asking what you need to fix, but with asking what you might need to feel cared for.
And whether you receive The Key or simply come back whenever you need us...
you're welcome here.
We'll leave the light on for you.
